To which my grandma laughed.
I continued “Ya ma. When I eat you don’t want to eat. You wait for everyone to finish eating. Then you eat.”
According to her she eats last so that she and maid can take the last dishes. The thing is long before we have maid, she still eat last.

I guess some people enjoy eating last? Do you?

Yes, most old people will want to eat last. For me, I will eat if I am hungry – first or last is not relevant. Haha!
Don’t have much experience with my Popo (mom’s mom) as she don’t stay with us. Agree with Beng most old folks are like “Bandaraya” whack what is left behind as not to waste. As for me would love to eat together.
