My 2011

When I said 2009 went by like a super sonic jet and 2010 was beyond that, I thought 2011 will sail pass even crazily faster. BUT thank GOD I managed to ‘slow down’ the time as in trying to live my life to the fullest. Hey life is a journey!

I have many bad days (who doesn’t right?) and am still learning how to cope with them. Thanks to the guidance I found through a very good author, I now know I’m not alone. Key words: relax, no fear, worry less, exercise more!

The highlight of my 2011 has got to be the outrageously-super-duper-delicious vegetarian meal I had at Po Lin Monastery in Lantau Island, Hong Kong earlier this year. The vegetarian dishes were so pure, so full of love and sincerity. That particular lunch on a cold afternoon had me at hello. It’s the best meal of my life!

I’m still enjoying my 4-days a week Korean drama fixes, what more Korean food and cooking and baking by the books and dishing up my very own recipe. Do check out my food blog if you have not. I still have many recipes that I wanted to try… where to find time?

Gotta say I’m proud of some of my food photographs. Really Amy? You snap that? (hahaha me tak malu) Anyway I think my photography has some improvement this year. I don’t really plan on upgrading my camera or lens anymore (unless suddenly a big pot of gold landed in front of me). Even for a D80, I can do so much. Make the best of your camera’s limitations… now that’s learning.

Goodbye 2011…
