Weee! I have a new TV! I went home yesterday and suggested to my parents to buy a CRT TV. Not wise to spend a lot of money for a LCD TV. A CRT TV is good enough.
So they called ‘our’ Panasonic dealer and now I have a TV. Fhewwww! My weekend is safe. Our old TV was Panasonic too. Its been passed to the dealer for repair.
:crying: My family’s TV died on us 2 days ago. It didn’t show any ill sign so we’re kinda surprise that it just wouldn’t turn on. Worse of all: we own 1 TV only!
These were my initial reaction:
“TV spoilt? Are you sure? Let me try”
“Ohmygosh! How am I going to watch football?”
“Argggghh I cannot live without TV”
“Who touch the TV last?”
“Yesterday got thunderstorm meh?”
“Aiyo now I gotta watch football in mamak stall?”
“Dad, please buy a new TV by this weekend. There’s an important football game coming next week.”
“If you don’t buy one, I would simply buy a cheap one”
“I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT TV”
“Oh shit!”
Hahaha I’m so addicted to the idiot box.
My dad thought of getting a LCD TV because he’s been a fan of LCD TV since visiting Best Denki a few months back.
After reading the Plasma-LCD facts, I certainly prefer Plasma over LCD. But of course my parents don’t own a money stamping factory. Besides that Plasma is ideal if you want a large TV screen. For small screen size of 32 inches or less, LCD is perfect.
Which come to my next question. Which LCD TV brand is good? If you own one, then please share with me how satisfy are you with your current LCD TV model/brand.
I don’t mind CRT TV too. Just give me any TV!!!

LCD will revolutionize TVs. It will not be known as ‘idiot box’ anymore. LCDs and Plasmas aren’t ‘boxes’! Haha.
My TV also spoilt once. Sent for repairs. Apparently kena zapped by lightning. I tell you, these days the thunder storm very violent. My house power switch always trip.
If you’re getting LCd, make sure buy lightning arrestors!

Yeah, 4K is expensive, but while u can enjoy it for like 5 years, 5 years, u can use it for astro n dvd, 5 years, i still think it worth it.
Notebook for 4k, i think it can install vista now, but 3 years later windows come out vista 2100, then u need to spend more to upgrade, or else u cant use most of the new function/devices/games and etc, so u say which one is worth it?
