Not long ago I did a post regarding a cool FeedBurner plugin where you can redirect all your RSS feeds on self-hosted WordPress to FeedBurner and I remember Vhanded asked me whether we can do the same with Blogspot blogs. My answer to him was unfortunately no (then).
Well, what d’ya know? You can NOW! You can now redirect your Blogger feeds to your FeedBurner just by adding your FeedBurner feed address in Blogger settings. Blogger blogs in this case are blogs hosted by Blogger with a blogspot.com address and blogs using Blogger’s custom domain.
FYI, Google had acquired FeedBurner recently and as you all know Google owns Blogspot. So can you see the connection?
Here’s how you can enable this function.
1. Sign up an account with FeedBurner. (if you don’t have one)
2. Sign in to your Blogger account and go to Settings → Site Feed.
3. Fill in your FeedBurner feed address at Post Feed Redirect URL box.
4. Click Save Settings.
Of course you might want to consider putting up a FeedBurner chicklet so that you can monitor how many RSS readers you have.
Happy FeedBurning.
