Let’s go down memory lane… for my blog Che-Cheh.
I started blogging in November 2004 at Blogger. By November 2005 I was busy looking for a web host and a domain. I still remember who I asked for advice… Lilian@5xmom.
My main reason is because I want have a blog to call my own. Posts are like our diary. They’re precious. Sometimes I read what I wrote months or years back… and it never fail to put a smile on my face. So to call it my own is something very profound & … precious.
I bought this domain with Yahoo Small Business on 13th Dec 2005. Two days later, I have a new web host: Bryan@IXIY Hosting. Something I’ve not regretted until today.
Sorry I’m a details nuts. I have to put date on them.

To be honest, yr site is slow to download. i now make it a point to click yr blog, open a new tab n go elsewhere n come back a minute or two later so as not to waste time.
Normally i just get a header or the side bar first….much later only then do i get yr posts
Bengbeng, this might be the nuffnang or amazon widget thing or maybe the earth hour flash banner I put in. Will look into it.

The reason? I’m plain lazy to make the switch as my current host is pretty good till I have nothing to complain about. Feel bad if I just leave them like that.

Yeah I do have the same prob as what Bengbeng mentioned and now, the comments are not appearing after i click submit.
Bengbeng, oh it’s okay. I myself sense loading is getting a bit slow lately. Need to clear some things later this week.

To be honest, I never heard of this web hosting before. We lose again. Are we going to falter after the Liverpool game? Hope not…

Jam, because it’s quite new. I’ve been using it for 3 years plus. Eh Liverpool now has better goal difference. I hope we won’t falter. I hope we will win the remaining games. But it’s difficult la. 3 main players missing the next game.

Agreed with Bengbeng, sometimes it’s slow to download your page, I’m not sure whether is my connection problem with Streamyx, but at least it’s better than my blog that I failed to download it at all, sometimes! :crying:
However, it’s a pain to switch over to another webhost that stopped me from doing so….
Just hope my bloody web host will improve themselves for good sake! :angry:
Cecil Lee, will clear some stuff later and see how. But I think this few days my blog loading time okay for me la. If you want to switch IXIY will gladly help you & advice you.
