Chester’s Malassezia, Fungal & Hematoma Condition… 3 Weeks Later

I just realized 3 weeks had past since Chester’s last vet visit. Here’s an update on his medical condition… (for my own reference)

On his Malassezia (yeast condition) I have revert back to using Malaseb instead of Sebazole. I now know why my previous use of Malaseb shampoo on Chester did not show any improvement. I didn’t leave the shampoo on his body long enough. kekeke (stupid me) This time I make sure I leave the shampoo on him for over 10 minutes. Guess what? The change is staggering!!!

3 weeks before:

3 weeks later: (sorry kinda blurry but you can see new fur has grown ya)
Chester's Malassezia 3 Weeks Later

The areas at both his armpits still has visible ‘black’ (yeast infection) sign but the hardy fish-scale like skin has disappeared! I was like WTF? So effective?

His fungal nodule scar has closed up but my dog is very nottie. He likes licking the scar making it heal oh so slowly. Grrrr…

Notice the red scar near my little finger? I have no idea how he got that but he was always licking it. Aiya!

Still no sign of improvement on his hematoma. I think I will need to bring him in for a surgery. Oppps… will give it a few more weeks. As long as his ear doesn’t develop into a cauliflower shaped ear then it’s okay I guess.

I was shampooing Ranger with a medicated shampoo too (can’t remember the name now) but no effect on him for his yeast infections. Since I changed the 2 older boys’ food to Canidae Platinum, their fur is softer, shinier and no shedding. Ranger’s “black” skin (yeast infections) around his groin area disappeared. Ranger also has that nodule fungal thing and I don’t know either how to stop him from licking it.

Good to know Chester’s condition is improving. I don’t think I can have pets as I just don’t have the time to take care of them!

Tekkaus, yeah except his hematoma… still dunno what to do

Jam, we will try! haha

Dawn, the power of food eh. No shedding is good. Hehe No need to sweep the floor. Chester’s yeast infection at his groin area is also clearing up. So happy. I guess we can’t stop them from licking. :grrr:

Foongpc, why no time? You’re always out?
