Cute Chester On Command For Butter Cake

Ok let’s not talk about HK today. I’m sure you guys miss Chester? Like a lot… Got? πŸ˜›
He’s been doing great since recovering from the horrible diarrhea incident. He’s back to his old self. Read: Lazy and lazy.

Yesterday I baked a butter cake and well what do you know? My dog was suddenly so alert. No more ‘Ah Pek’ behaviour. He’s like the young dog I used to have. He kept eying me (to know when I’m going to attack the butter cake and he will join in). And he parked himself near the cake! Haha Aiyoo Chester ahh!!!

Watch for yourself his behavior and antics and how he follow my commands all for the sake of butter cake! Chester must be thinking ““Long live butter cake!”

Psst these are low quality videos taken by yucky blackberrry curve.

Look how he grab the butter cake out of the blue!
Ok I know me saying ‘Say Hello’ many times is kinda irritating. Haha

What a golden retriever will do for food?
He’s seen here following my commands: speak, say hello, sit, wait, sit properly and finally me saying ‘ok’.

Got the idea of teaching ‘Say Hello’ from this site.
‘Say Hello’ means greeting you by putting his chin on your lap. The feeling of having a dog’s chin on your lap is priceless! It feels so warm and ‘wan luen’.

The ‘Sit Properly’ command was invented by yours truly. As my indoor is covered with tiles, it’s very slippery for my dog. Whenever he’s on ‘sit’ command, he will slip down after some time as his butt is full of fur (like you don’t know). So I teach him the ‘Sit Properly’ command so he will re-sit properly.

Do tell me if you want to know how to teach your dog to ‘Say Hello’ or if you’ve been having a hard time teaching your dog to follow commands. I’ll share with you what I know.

That’s it for now.

Aiyoh…you torture Chester to get his butter cake. LOL πŸ˜€

      Yes I ‘tortured’ him. Haha

Well that’s the way for a dog to learn new tricks/commands and polish old tricks. If the dog like playing more than food then you can torture the dog use games to teach tricks.

Haha so cute. When you say can eat the cake he like don’t want already. He is a very obedient dog, you trained him well!
