That’s what I say when I need my dog to come to me for fur brushing. Sometimes he’ll come to me automatically once he sees me holding the brush.
Being with a stingy and poor owner like me ahem ahem, Chester has never been to any grooming center. Bathing, ear cleaning, nails clipping, fur trimming and fur brushing are all done at home by yours truly. Except for show dog purpose, I can never understand the dog-grooming center relationship. Isn’t it more worthwhile in terms of bonding to groom your beloved pet yourself?

Oh yes!! Even though I don’t own any pets, I think it’s better to groom your dog yourself. Besides bonding you also save $$$! : )
Yeah $$$ too. I rather spend that $$$ on his treats and food.
I groom mine too. Mine like the brushing portion of the grooming session. Ears and nails they don’t like at all. Ranger and Chase will hurry away – free roam of the house, always finds him in our bedroom walk-in closet. Except for Cooper, he will just lie on the floor looking submissive.
I wonder why nail cutting is such a nightmare for them. Ahh Cooper the good old boy. I like him. π
