Happy 9th Birthday my dear Che!
Since Chester is about 70 years old (human years), I just call him Oppa (์ค๋น ) nowadays which means older brother in Korean. Hahaha
And because he’s in the grandpa stage, I choose not to bake anymore birthday cake for him. Instead I made him this healthy and delicious chicken dish with veggie puree and steamed pumpkin this morning for his birthday. Hope you liked it oppa! Kekeke
His veggie puree consist of cabbage, carrot and yau mak with honey. And yes I tear the chicken to ‘swallow’ size coz I know he’ll just wallop it without biting.
Performing play dead (which I did not ask him to do) so that I’ll feed him already! Haha
He tries to avoid my camera always hence I use my hand to stop him from turning away this time.
In terms of his behavior, he’s as angelic as ever, lazy as ever, always smiling and a lil bit of a scarey-cat as ever! My mom said this to me a couple of times: Your dog is very stupid, he doesn’t know how to run away! I take it as a compliment because I don’t think he’s stupid. He’s very intelligent and obedient. You know what? He’ll wait for my signal to step out of the front gate and even the porch. Where to get this kind of dog? He’s one very special dog.
And because of that I LOVE him to bits!!!
Another round of chicken+veggie will be served for tonight’s dinner. Wait for it oppa.

Happy 9th Birthday, Oppa! So cute, calling him Oppa. At first I thought you are calling him “grandpa” in German (Opa)! LOL Then at 70 years old, he is a grandpa! His b’day meal looks good for human! Have you try giving him coconut oil with his kibbles? Chase loves that oil so much but dare not give too much incase he lau sai! ๐

Coconut oil? Whooa first time I heard about this leh. Didnโt know dog can consume coconut oil. Whatโs the benefit of this oil for dogs? Can lau sai wan ah?
I didn’t do any research till he started licking my legs after I put coconut oil after my shower. Then I just gave him a heapful of it in a teaspoon. He licked it clean, but only couple days a week. The benefits i googled later is the oil is for softer fur and it aids in burning fat and many many more! I started him on it was more for the fur. His fur is rough. I kiasu only about the lau sai coz not sure how his stomach is taking it. So far for the 3 weeks I started it, he is find.
