Hot Weather & My Smart Dog Hehe

Ahh March is here. How’s everyone? I feel bloated (CNY aftermath). Hahaha And then there’s the crazy weather. *sigh HoT HOt hOT!!!

When I landed back in Malaysia few days ago, I thought I wouldn’t have to suffer Siem Reap’s heat anymore. But aiyo it’s the same hot here but Siem Reap is slightly hotter. The only solace is my hotel room. Will tell you why later.

My poor dog is feeling the heat as well. He’s been drinking lots of water. Very unlike him actually. And he’s constantly playing with his mini ‘swimming pool’ (read: water bowl) when no one is around. LOL Gotta bath him soon. His last bath was 2 days before CNY. That’s like 17 days ago. Hehe

Dearest Chester

I’ve been feeding him lots of ice cubes as well.

Me: Chester you want ice?

Chester: WOOF!

Me: How many you want?

Chester: WOOF! WOOF! (means he wants 2 ice cubes hehe)

I just love it when my dog response to my question. I don’t think he understands actually. Haha

Sometimes we will have this sort of conversation:

Me: Chester you want to play frisbee?

Chester: WOOF!

Me: Are you ready? (preparing to throw the frisbee)

Chester: WOOF!

Sometimes I think he actually understands my question. LOL

Haha.. So cute!

Both my JRTs – Snoopy & Rusty have gone into hiding under my bed.

Rusty is a bit blur… he will try to dig a hole under my bed by scratching on the cement floor so that he can lie in the “hole” to feel cool. :)

The boys will dig holes in the yard and lay in them and also lay on top of the vents if we have the air turn on. My dogs gets super excited too on some of the common words/phrases I use at them…”wanna go fetch”, “lets go”, “knock it off”, hungry, eat.

By the way, do you jbathe Chester or drench him with water when it’s so hot out? The vet told me to not bathe the dogs so much…once a month or less unless they are very dirty but instead brush them every other day.

Xin, 2 months? wah lau

Angie, hahaha Rusty is so cute! My dog dunno how to dig. Teruk or not? kekeke

Dawn, My dog has no digging ability. LOL Chester knows the word hungry, excuse me, let’s go… especially this question: you want?

I like to bath him once a week but mostly I’m a lazy bum. But yeah read from books said not to bath often or else the natural oil from the fur will hilang. Sometimes if he’s too dirty and I’m lazy, I will just clean his body with a wet towel. I brush him often… always in the evening. But if we’re out and he got too hot, I will drench him with water because he doesn’t like to drink when he’s out. Not sure why.

Cecil Lee, don’t expect much. I didn’t take as many photos that I thought I would. Haha so you’re talking to Chester.

Irenelim, i’m working on my Siem Reap travelogue but slowly. A little busy.

ILikePaperCutting, I tried that before but feel like i’m bullying him because I usually use the water spray to play with him. Haha

Fufu, yes that’s true.

Keeyit, thankfully we have a big shower yesterday. Hehe
