Let Me Tell You A Goldie Story Since There’s No More Rat In The House

in Chester, Chitty Chatty

All I can tell you is that the bait was left untouched. We think the rat has escaped. How and when and where…we have no idea. Even if the rat has died due to our abuse, surely Chester is able to sniff his body stench by now.

Mom said she wanted to keep the rat glue a little longer. I think it’s not a good idea since we have a very famished dog in the house. Although Chester has no way of reaching the glue but still some precaution is better right?

Chester

Speaking about this famished dog of mine. Well, he’s actually quite an obedient dog. We have food such as cakes and oranges on the floor altar as an offering to ‘Tei Chiu Kong’ (God of Earth I think) and this cute golden dog has never EVER touch the food except some sniffing intention only. Even when he’s home alone or busy rampaging the house with newspaper and toilet paper, the foods were left unharmed.

There are times when his tennis ball roll to a standstill near the offerings and what did my dear Chester do? Carefully and gently, he’ll retrieve the tennis ball for me. You can see his tender side when he’s retrieving the ball. Aiyooo so cute! I feel like wanna cekik him with my cuddle.

Tennis Ball

But I just got to say a prayer: TOUCHWOOD. Never underestimate a golden especially one that will do anything for food.

Hahahaha…

Okie.. Hope that you can find the rat soon. :nailbiting:

Anyway, Snoopy doesn’t touch certain foods except for chicken and other yummy stuff.

I think Chester knows that the food is for the Gods and so, dare not touch it. :-P

last time when my family were still practicing taoism, we also had a “god of the earth” altar outside the house. at that time, we also acquired a puppy. during the first night at home, the puppy took an orange from the altar and probably played with it, but after that night he never went near the altar again. my father told me that when the puppy was sleeping, the god probably appeared in his dream and scolded him for being so naughty. that time, i believed lah. haha.

Mo-C, we’ve placed the glue in the kitchen. Still no rat. Hahaha

Dreamcatcher, nolar. He’s always that goody good.

Keeyit, I read an article somewhere before that the best solution is to keep all those shoes in a safe place. In other words out of their reach. Lucky Chester don’t like shoes. Hehe

Angie Tan, Snoopy very pandai ma…only look for good food.

Daniel, wisely said.

Neo, he plays tennis…but with his mouth.

Kleio, hehehe thank you.

Hedo, eh maybe what your father said is true le.

KitKat, yes he certainly is.
