Wanna see how a dog balance a cookie on his nose and then catch it? You’ve come to the right place. 
It took me quite some time to train Chester for this nose balancing act. He’s able to catch the cookie on his nose quite fast as in I place the cookie on his nose and he catches it right away. But the balancing act and of asking him to ‘stay’ at that position until I say ‘ok’ needed many practices. Finally he’s able comply to my command.
Now he can balance any food on his nose. But his catching skill is not 100%. Hehe.
In shooting the video below, I took more or less 20 takes… mostly because he’s unable to catch the cookie (I think he’s doing it purposely so that he can have more cookies! :nottalking:). Actually his first take was perfect but this owner of his placed the camera too low thus missing his neck above. :laughing:

Furthermore, the dogs at my house really hard to teach one as they love to jump around and cannot stop one le… headache…
Keeyit, say for eg. you want to teach them to sit. A dog actually knows how to sit right? So when they’re sitting you say ‘SIT, good dog!’ Give them a cookie. So they understand that the act of sitting goes hand with hand with the word sit. So when I want to teach a dog how to balance a cookie on his nose, I put a cookie on his nose and say “Chester, balance cookie on your nose”. So they know that act is called balance cookie on your nose.
Yes needs lots of patience and frequent training. Remember don’t train them for too long or they’ll feel boring. Take a time off and then practice again.
If they love to jump up, first you must teach them to understand commands such as sit, stay, lie down. Try these first. Good luck!
i actually bought “golden retrievers for dummies”!! i used the tips from book to teach Brinkley to sit, down, stay, paw (though I go “hand”) and the other “hand”!! aih..so proud of my handsome boy…so sad.

chester’s intended to b is oopi my dog. it is a match made romance but too far so wat to do? anyway oopi is having ticks problem n i need to bathe it every day now until the problem is fixed. oopi the sexy one is attracting males from all over the neighbourhood now
