Chester

The Case Of Misidentifying A Dumbbell For A Bone!

One day while I was working my arms with a dumbbell, Chester came to me with a twinkle in his eyes. You see he’s NOT usually interested in what I’m holding unless what I’m holding is food.

So yes he came and grab my dumbbell! Puzzled at first but I soon realized why.

This is a case of misidentifying a dumbbell for a bone.

You see, I’ve never ever given him a bone before. Not even a small piece of bone. Except bone biscuits. Hehe

I have this stupid idea that he will choke while eating a bone or the bone will get stuck somewhere in his belly or intestines that will later on pose danger to his health.

Over worry? Guilty as charged!

I’m sorry Chester that you have never ever tasted a REAL bone before. Maybe dog owners out there can advice me on what kind of bone is the ‘safest’ for a dog?

Talking about dog… here’s the winner for the dog signage contest… deng deng deng…

Bengbeng with his message Do not poo here. Offenderโ€™s owner will be asked to clear up the mess.

Chosen by my parents. Hehe

Bengbeng, please email me your details so I can send the prize to you.

Xin, Bengbeng, Keeyit, Yesterday I asked my dad as to what kind of bone should I give Chester since he had experienced with dogs during his growing up years. Guess what he said? Don’t give! I asked why? He said scare Chester will choke. (hehe just like me worry). And again I asked why he will choke? He said because Chester has no experience eating bone! Haha anyway I will try to find a medium size bone for him to lick right before bathing. I only can give him when he’s outside the house because the bone will be very messy if he eats it inside the house.
