I visited dear ole Mr. Dentist yesterday. I was nervous (but not as nervous as when I had a needle poke into my arm). The air-conditioned room didn’t helped me at all. I only calm down when I sat at the ‘torture’ chair. No idea why.
I think I need to visit him frequently to make my anxiety disappear. ANNUALLY perhaps. Well that’s what happened to my fear of needle. Nowadays needle poking is just a monotonous thing for me.
Well, Mr Dentist gave my teeth a clean bill of health. No hole…wohooo! I only did some simple scaling. Hah! Not bad considering I haven’t had a date with Mr Dentist for five and a half years. :LOL: Yeah I admit, I’m a scary cat. :tongue: Perhaps using the Braun Oral B Plak Control 3D action electrical toothbrush did help me after all.
I’m worry about the hygiene factor there coz they didn’t wash or change a new cup after a patient has used it for gargling. Very unhealthy le. Imagine someone is a hepatitis carrier…sure ‘kena’. *touchwood*

I visit at least twice a year, for the last 5 years now. Those government dentists (the ones that used to visit schools) traumatized me for so long! :suprised:

My dentist recommends to go every 6 months lah, but I always lazy to go wan.
In fact, I just went for a regular cleaning in Jan this year. When I looked at the past records, I realized that I’ve been visiting the same dental for a freaking 14 years already!
