I’m suppose to start working today BUT I was given 2 days medical leave. My back is still hurting. Although much better but right now no matter what position I’m in…sitting, walking or sleeping, my right back muscle feels tight. I think I’ve figured out how I’ve gotten this injury…by being a good daughter helping mom carrying 10 boxes of oranges and 6 carton of drinks on the eve of CNY.
On a happier note, dad and I won a consolation ‘nombor ekor’ prize. Wohooo. The number is non other than my car number. Sorry can’t tell you the number. The prize money is not much but it makes me feel so happy. Lalalalala
Notice the spring onion in the picture below? Well what can I say…there’s this one spring onion that shoot up and just grew! (depicted in green) and another one that grew sideway. I didn’t get the chance to take a photo of the aftermath. I consider this to be a lucky charm coz it never grows like that even though we’ve been putting wet cotton at the roots year after year.

That explains the back injury, putting too much pressure on the back by lifting weights can have adverse effects. I have a colleague who injured his back some 2 years ago, still haven’t recovered, and on occasions visits the clinic for painkillers….so be careful…

Dreamcatcher and Mo-C, usually when we bought spring onion from the market, it will slowly wither away right? but our spring onion grew!
Daniel, yes not more carrying heavy stuff.
Jemima, thanks
