What To Do During Earth Hour?

Have you decided on what you want to do during Earth Hour?

Initially I thought I’ll hang out in the mall. But quickly shut down this really stupid idea. What’s the point ya?

So I thought why not plan a BBQ on 28th March in our porch. Candle lights will be our source of energy. Oh it’ll be cool & lovely! Just hope there will be no heavy clouds park above my house. Haha

I’ve drawn up a list of things to buy and so on. I hope I can get a pork rib in time. Wohooo. I’m so excited.

My friends, have you planned what you want to do during Earth Hour?

I received the below list from WWF today. Some ideas on things you can do during Earth Hour.

10 Things To Do During Earth Hour
1. Gather family & friends for a night picnic
2. Dine in one of the many Earth Hour participating restaurants by candlelight
3. Organise a family night playing board games
4. Throw an Earth Hour street party with your neighbours
5. Arrange a house party lit by torches
6. Take the dog for a night walk
7. Hand write a letter to loved one by lantern
8. Sit in the dark and share stories
9. Read a book using a book light
10. Share a romantic night in with your loved one

I haven’t planned yet, but most likely will be an outdoor picnic under the starry skies provided it does not rain!

Outdoor plans for us will be out of the question…forecasted weather – rain and possible snow showers. Will sit home, watch movies, but then can turn the TV on, arh?

Sounds like a great idea. :-)

I think I’ll be at my friend’s condo for dinner and would be interesting to see how many folks support Earth Hour from her vantage point. :P

I’d like to share horrific stories in dark with friends!
