Dogathon 2006 is coming! The event will be held at Bukit Ekspo, UPM, Serdang on 13th August 2006. Time is from 7am to 1pm. The theme for this year’s Dogathon is…
…must be due to Pirates of The Carribean mania.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a dog owner, a dog lover or just curious, all are welcome to this charity event. All proceeds will go to Pro-Kasih. Please come and enjoy the fun while doing your bits for charity.
The main event for Dogathon 2006 is the Dogathon Race where dogs and owners will run a 2km tracks around the grounds of Bukit Expo while overcoming 4 obstacles. Others super cool events are Fastest Eating Duo, Dogathon Idol, Treasure Chest, Master Hunt, Musical Chair and many more. Read here. I bet you will be tempted to join after this. Hey you can just grab your neighbour’s dog anytime.
Ahh I may be joining several events with Chester. Still thinking. Will Chester, the master of tricks decided to act arrogant in front of his friends ? If he is, then it will be hard for me to give command. :thinking: And I’m worry about his panting…if we plan to hang around from 8am till 1pm.

Been there this morning. It was my first time to a dogathon. Wow, it was kinda fun
The dogs are all soooo… cute n cuddly *feeling wuzzy fuzzy* Sigh… Real eye-opener (or should I say eye-candy – I mean’t the dogs not the owners, mind you)
I have to say, It’s really worth my effort to wake up so goddamn early in the morning (6am) today for this event. :peace:

Reached there approx 8.10am. Had to go earlier to avoid being scorch by the unforgiving noon sun. Brought two of my family dogs there too – ‘Kopi-O’ and ‘Susu’. Kopi-O is a Doberman Pinscher and ‘Susu’ is a mixed-breed Maltese I believed

If I’m not mistaken…I saw this news on a piece of brochure.
Yup like Dogathon but it’s not a fund-raising event. Just for all doggie to get together with cool games and interesting activities. Oh yeah they had 2 huge ponds there. You can let Kopi-O and Susu play in there if you don’t mind the muddy water. They can always take a quick bath at the public toilet there. This event at Bandar Utama is organised by puppy.com.my.
