보통의 연애 Just An Ordinary Love Story (Korean Drama Special)

I’ve just finished watching this Korean drama special series called Just An Ordinary Love Story and can’t help but swoon over the melodrama story and beautiful cinematography. It’s called Korean drama special because it’s just 4 episodes. This short drama was broadcasted right after Wild Romanceperhaps giving some time for the filming of the next K. drama; Man From the Equator to take off so that Man From The Equator will start on the same day and same time with Rooftop Prince and King 2Hearts.

Update: You Da In and Yeon Woo Jin won the actress and actor One-Act Special award at 2012 KBS Drama Awards. So happppppy!

I love this love story. Although just 4 episodes, it’s dramatic yet gentle and mellow. The scenery are so beautiful. Nicely captured! One of the filming location is in Jeonju Hanok Village.

When path crosses…

When 2 people falls in love…

Synopsis (source from KBS):
A man, who lost his brother to a murderer, approaches the murderer on purpose, but instead he finds himself falling in love with the killer’s daughter.

Alternate synopsis:
Han Jae Gwang is a tour writer. He approaches Kim Yoon Hye, the daughter of a man who killed his older brother. However, they fall in love each other after that.

The acting and chemistry between the 2 leads are superb as well. One of the best love story I’ve seen. It’s good when you (the viewers) can feel it too.

This is so interesting that you posted this. When we were in Korea, everyone was obsessed with K drama, but we thought it was b/c we were just living there. Well, we come home to the states and K dramas are all over the web and hulu now. I never watched them while there b/c there were no subtitles, but here there are. You’ve got me intrigued 🙂

Hi Emily, not all K. dramas are bad. Some dramas gets the extra special treatment because of its famous starring leads but they don’t always work out well. Sometimes yes sometimes no. So we choose the story that intrigued us be it small or large. Like this one which is a small scale drama but are better than many famous dramas out there.

Since 4 episodes only can find time hehe. If 20 episodes I think cannot finish.

Hehe Fyi most K. dramas has only 16 epis. Some has 20 or over but those are under ‘longish’ K. dramas category.

Hi, I agree with you 100%, it’s a short drama but very touching and meaningful. For the ending I think their path will cross again. That’s how I interpret it. Thanks for sharing your view with me. 🙂
