학교 School 2013 (Korean Drama)

학교 School 2013 started off quite meh for me. Maybe because I’ve never experienced being in a class full of sleepyheads! And neither have I come to know a class with 2 homeroom teachers. Or the students can just babble on their dislike for a certain teacher right at the teacher’s face. They seems too unbelievable to be true. For me the story start to get interesting around the time when a chair flew out of the class window and when Oh Jung Ho had a big confrontation with Teacher Jung at the cafeteria. By the last episode, I was sobbing. Either I was too exhausted for the day or I couldn’t bear to say goodbye to the teachers and students from Seungri High. I would like to think it’s the latter. 🙂

Initially I watch School 2013 just for Jang Na Ra and Daniel Choi because I like them a lot in Baby-Faced Beauty. My second reason is Park Se Young. In a year alone (2012), I’ve seen her in 4 Korean dramas; Equator Man, Love Rain, Faith and now this drama. This girl is very beautiful and talented. For me her best feature is her eyes. They have such intense stare whereby at one point I thought her character in Faith was releasing electricity at Lee Min Ho’s Choi Young. Hahaha

One thing School 2013 lacks is romance. I would love to see some love sparks between the students.

Luckily we have the cute bromance between Ko Nam Soon and Park Heung Soo. Although sometimes it can be too cheesy to watch. It’s like watching 2 gays. Hahahaha But I still love them!!! I’ve seen Kim Woo Bin (who plays Park Heung Soo) in To The Beautiful You. I like him here better. Dramabeans quoted that Kim Woo Bin is a gangster turned teddy bear. I wholly agree!
