์ง์žฅ์˜ ์‹  The Queen Of Office (Korean Drama)

I gave this drama, The Queen of Office 0% hope when I first heard what it’s about. Drama about office work life? BORING!!!

The Queen of Office

I’ve never been so happy to be proved wrong. This drama is fabulous and humorous! It tells the story of work life where many can relate to. And the humor presented in this drama is outrageously funny. They don’t do the ‘I try to be funny and you laugh’ kind of humor. Instead humor in this drama are presented in the dry kind of way: ‘I act normal and you laugh’! I would recommend this drama to anyone. A good laughter show is a great way for de-stressing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Queen of Office

Synopsis (source from KBS):
A romantic comedy about work and love! Miss Kim who is just a contractor of a company is the “boss of the boss”. Drama “The Queen of Office” illustrates a realistic story of a working woman who strives to survive at a work place.

Alternate synopsis from koreandrama.org:
Contract employee Ms. Kim (Kim Hye Soo) does everything perfect at work that even her bosses are a little afraid of. She is also shrouded in mystery because her colleagues donโ€™t know her background. Ms. Kim is the center of attention and she is also charismatic and funny. Meanwhile, Jang Kyu Jik (Oh Ji Ho) is a permanent employee in upper management. He finished his MBA in U.S. before returning to Korea. Two of them always argue about everything.

Jung Yu Mi as Jeong Ju ri
I find Jung Yu Mi as Jeong Ju Ri very cute and lovely. I still remember the pororo episode.

Cast:
Kim Hye Soo as Miss Kim
Oh Ji Ho as Jang Kyu Jik
Jung Yu Mi as Jeong Ju ri
Lee Hee Jun as Mu Jeong Han

Kim Hye Soo as Miss Kim
Kim Hye Soo as Miss Kim is very funny. She is the contract worker with many skills..

Kim Hye Soo as Miss Kim
I do wish I’m like her – skilful and hardworking. However she’s too robotic… I don’t fancy this kind of work lifestyle. All work and no fun is definitely no fun. To find out why she’s so serious in work, you gotta watch this drama.

Kim Hye Soo as Miss Kim
Ahh nice smile. Now Miss Kim is more human-like. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh Ji Ho as Jang Kyu Jik
Just realized Oh Ji Ho have dimples! Now imagine this face with straight hair. Hehehe. You’ll know what I mean if you watch this drama ๐Ÿ˜‰ Love Jang Gyu Jik’s (played by Oh Ji Ho) expressions every time Miss Kim ‘taunts’ him. LOL

I’ve always love Lee Hee Jun’s acting but he kinda fizzle off here as Mu Jeong Han.

Overall a good watch. Highly recommended.

My favorite song from this drama is ๋ฉ€๋ฆฌ์„œ ์•ˆ๋ถ€ (Hello From Far Away) from Younha.
