During the Tangs sales few weekends back, we were given a pair of Island Cafe coupon for free coffee/tea (because we managed to spent RMX amount of purchase) LOL! Since our legs were dead tired, we thought we’ll stop by and rest a bit.

Btw my best buy was grabbing a cool Capri pants at 80% off. I paid only RM45.80 for a RM229.00 pants! Nobody was looking at that rack. Perhaps 80% is too uncool for the rich?

Island Cafe is located inside the Island Shop. When I first entered, all I can see is yellow lights. I love yellow lights. It creates wonderful calming mood.

Then I looked up and saw this…

Blissful.

Our caffeine fix. Gulped down half only. I’m not a coffee lover. I’m a milo lover.

It has outdoor section as well. Outside is a walkway to more shops.

I refused to leave. As it is raining outside & the sofa is stopping me. But I had to. Dinner is calling. Yes TeoChew porridge is calling.

p/s: I hauled my DSLR throughout the shopping spree. Wanted to train myself to get used to the weight. Not bad at all.

Renaye, Normally The Star will advertise. Worth it!

Hcfoo, Normally I only shop when I need to. Someone dragged me there lo. I think you missed the p/s part. Well, I wanted to learn to cope with the weight so that when I go traveling I will feel easier.

Very worth buying at 80% off! I like the lights! And I’m not much of a coffee drinker too. I like ice cold Milo! Ice coffee will give me stomach upset!

Foongpc, I felt very happy after that. Haha So you’re a milo lover too eh. I’ll go nuts or as my dear sis says ‘Like orang ulu only lah you’ when I see any milo near me.

I drag my DSLR camera everywhere I go now too…

What do you plan to get next? I’ve gotten my 50mm, thinking about my zoom or ultra-wide angles plus external flash. :-)

Kekeke… If you see an idiot taking close-ups of food.. That’s me.

Angie Tan, my dad just gave me an earful yesterday. Warning me not to bring my camera everywhere since snatch thief case is on the rise. I’m going to get the 50mm and/or external flash next. Been dreaming about the 50mm lens even before I get my DSLR hahaha. PioneerWoman.com inspired me! Like you I’ll get the wide angle after that. Of course all this come $$….aisehhh Btw what’s your 50mm f-stops?

I seldom carry my dslr around. it attracts too much attention unless it is or a specific purpose or function. yr pics have really improved.

Alexallied, yeah me noob. Finally get the ISO setting right for these shots. There were plenty of blurry ones as well. kekeke

Philters, not exactly everywhere. Only on occasions depending on my destinations. I went to another place before this shopping spree. Just hauled it along to the mall to get the feeling of the camera weight. Other time, the camera is just sitting nicely on my table at home.

I still find hard to carry my DSLR all around with me. BTW, just found out camera is not allowed inside Bukit Jalil, how disappointing!
