Cream Crackers

We’re a family who love cream crackers very much. In Hokkien, we called it ‘Kiam Piah’ which mean salted biscuit. The best eating combination is cream crackers + red bean soup. Slurp :drool:

Usually, we buy a big tin of cream cracker because it’s cheaper than those small packet types that are readily available at Tesco/Giant/etc. We get it from Makro but since they’re no longer selling (hypermarket under renovation), we buy them from biscuit wholesaler.

The price of a tin of cream cracker includes deposit for the tin. So when you’ve finish gobble up the crackers, you can return the empty tin to get your deposit back.

    sliced cheese! triple layer cream cracker cheese sandwich. with a glass of hot milo. yums.

    last time my grandmother used to let use dip our cream crackers into condensed milk.. but no more because everyone suddenly grow up and become very health conscious.

    I love cream crackers too! Used to get it from kedai runcit back in my hometown when i was a kid. Seldom see these kinda biscuits anymore :drool:

    Hehe. I love to eat cream crackers sandwitch with sambal goreng, or sometimes with cheese and butter. Yummy. :drool:

    i remember growing up we used to soak the crackers in hot milo & eat them soggy! now that i think of it its so yucky! :sick:

    try crackers with butter + mashed potatoes or eggs; boiled, sunny, scrambled or whatever. 😉

    I tell u, I can whole that whole ‘tong’ and sit in front of the TV for 2 hours :p Used to kena scold by mom coz the biscuit sure ‘lau hong’.

    Try them with margarine/butter and sugar. They are good, or like Wuching, soak them in kopi-o.
