I bought a packet of super cute vegeroni shapes pasta from the San Remo range recently. So cute that I almost finish the whole packet myself (going to anyhow).

Vegeroni is vegetable flavoured pasta. They come usually in green, orange or red color. Learned that a company by the name Royal-Angelus Macaroni created vegeroni 76 years ago (1933).

Anyway I want to show you their SUPER cute shapes. It really open up my appetite. Yeah get fat faster.

Vegeroni Pasta (Sea Shells & Leeches) Raw

The green & orange ones are sea shells. The yellow ones are leeches. Hahaha Or they can be bamboo shoots. Cute right? Once I saw how cute they are, I immediately grab a pack without any hesitant. Got them at Tesco.

Vegeroni Pasta (Sea Shells & Leeches)

Still very cute?
I like my pasta ‘soft cooked’. I don’t like al-dente whereby you can still feel the hard part at the middle. I don’t like resistance. I like ‘em soft.
Now who’s with me?

Vegeroni Pasta Close Up

Looks good? Taste good baby!
I always start my pasta cooking with a large onion.
For this round, I add cheery tomatoes, tomatoes, mushroom, ham, carrots, celery, bay leaves, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, spring onions, coriander, yau mak & finally top it off with cream cheese. If I want wetter pasta, I add some milk powder. No need high class cream la. Try adding 5 spice powder/paprika/cayenne/curry powder. Not all at once la. But parprika+cayenne is a match made in heaven. Result guarantee GOOD.

You think this is hard work? Nah… preparation + cooking time: about 30 minutes.
If my sis were to cook… I’ll have to wait 1.5 hours. Seriously.

When the stomach call, all you can do is cook faster. Now I’m a fast cook.

Vegeroni Pasta Yum

Unfortunately I walloped all. No more for you.
Solly.

p/s: mom said how can you say good when you’re the cook & eater. But really Mommy!
