2 movies in 1 week ? I must be crazy. 8-}
Actually it was because of Sushi King. Yesterday was the last day for the RM2 promotion and we took that opportunity to wallop 18 plates of sushi…yeah improvement of 4 plates. Didn’t take picture of empty sushi plates as they were collected before I have a chance to stack em up. >:/
What can I tell you about Inside Man ? It has something to do with Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster. LOL as if you don’t know already. I was feeling very excited about this film, more than Ice Age 2 but I came out of the movie laughing out loud and feeling helplessly LOST!?! That was the most queer movie I had ever seen. There’s some hint of V for Vendetta and The Negotiator in this movie.

This movie runs a lenghty 2 hours and 15 minutes and trust me by the first quarter of it, you would think it’s too long and you would demand for a quick ending because it’s predictable(for my case). You will never get all your questions answered by the end of this movie. Questions such as “Why he wanna do it? Who is he working with ? What is he planning to do with the ‘envelope’, how come the bank’s security guard is so stupid(that’s the first loop hole) ???” and many more. That was what we were all laughing about when exiting the cinema.
And because of this movie, I’m deprived of sleep. I rate this movie a C+. :-S
p/s: pay attention to the soundtrack. you will get a shock!

Yvy, I saw Denzel’s spare tyre la. He really put on quite a lot of weight. Nope not Denzel or Jodie, it’s because of the story. Actually Jodie had a small part in this movie.

Lucky Number Slevin, hmm… It doesn’t make sense and abit boring as the story unfolds. But until the end where the twist comes in, that was the exciting part and the story started to make sense. Watch it at home with pDVD, I suggest.

I wait for the DVD lah then …. But seriously, with 3 big stars and only …. C+?? Oh well, movies don’t always depend on big names to carry them. And sometimes the script is such that no matter how big the actors, it’ll be a bomb.
