My dad just came home from Korea yesterday.
He went on a business cum leisure trip for 6 days and 4 nights at Seoul and Incheon. We missed him so much throughout these 6 days as the house was quiet from the usual echo of his voice. We missed his scolding too.
He said Korea is very expensive and food is not really that delicious. I guess coz they ate almost the same kind of food everyday; rice, steamboat, seaweed, pork, chicken, kim chi, etc. That’s what you get if you follow tour. Upon hearing his remarks, sister and me immediately denied him. We’ve been to Korea 3 years ago and we love Korea so very much. Dad’s Korea tour agency was the same as ours, Reliance and he visited all the places that we had visited previously.
In fact we visited more places as our tour was a 8 days and 6 nights trip.
Put that aside, here are the cost for some of the items sold in Korea:
Coffee from 5 star hotel - about RM60
Burger King’s burger - about RM15
Hair pin from shopping mall - about RM60
Hair pin from small shops - about RM15
Powdered ginseng(5/6 bottles) - nearly RM3000
I will post his trip’s photos in a few miniseries starting tomorrow. Till then cheers!
p/s: ManUtd will be 2nd in the league. That I have no doubt. But to slow Chelsea from lifting the EPL title earlier is the fun game we, ManUtd play.

You can’t really compare some of these places with Malaysia. When I was in Japan, a simple meal in a hotel is around USD 200 easy. I think we still have very cheap food here in Malaysia, but please don’t tell the food vendors that … they’ll jack up the prices and they make the statement like our gomen does .. “But our food is still among the cheapest in the world …”
