I went to Hee Lai Ton Restaurant(formally known as Sheraton Restaurant) at Seri Kembangan a week ago. We used to bring our relatives there for Chinese New Year dinner. I was suprised that the restaurant has now expanded to the first floor, a few shop lots and branches in Puchong, PJ and Seremban. Bravo!
First, let me you show you what we had on that Wednesday night. Overall the food was OK. Just nice!

Lobster coated with cheese. Yummyy…My first EVER taste of lobster. Thank you cousin!

According to dad and uncle, Loong Tam(a type of fish; not sure what it’s called in English) is very expensive. 1kg cost RM130!!!
How does it taste like ? Just like a normal fish. Bahhh…
My second attempt at drinking wine and sis’ first attempt. My first time attempt left me with a bleak CNY a few years back. Blame everyone. Nobody told me to drink it slowly. I suffered a horrific sore throat.
What happened in my second attempt ? I nearly fainted! You see, the dinner was supposed to start at 7.30pm but it was delayed until 9.30pm. I had my wine just after the second dish. After that I felt my body twisting and turning…mom said it was because of gastric(never had gastric in my whole life). Anyway…Thanks mommy for massaging my back.
and dad for finishing both glasses of wine.
AHEM, I rarely drink alcohol. Can’t stand the ‘aroma’. I prefer sparkling juice or shandy…sweet! And you bet I will have my third attempt at drinking wine when I have the chance.

And now I present to you 2 leng chais. The cute little boy is my nephew and hiding behind him is my cousin who treated us to this wonderful dinner.

What’s the ocassion ? 2 things. In celebration of my cousin’s winning lottery streak and a “house warming dinner” for my aunt(from Melb). She’s the one standing at the far right. Too bad she came alone this time(again).

These are just 3/4 of my family members…there’s more…somewhere…busy

I used to be a wine sale assistant, that’s why I love wine more than other alcoholic drinks. Beer is gassy, if I drink too much I’ll puke.
