This post is dedicated to Daniel because I have durian’s pictures to annoy you.
My parents travelled about 25km(to and fro) just to buy these durians near midnight yesterday.
It cost RM1 per durian. And you think they will buy few dozens home ? Nope, just 9 durians! WT….f
We were very satisfied with the quality of the durians. We didn’t find any spoilt one but a few that hasn’t ripen.

He have been eating durians since he was less than a year old.

succulent, pungent, sexy, sweet…
I like my durian fridge cold, how about you ?

My durians have to be cold. Freezer cold. And a little bitter, not too sweet. And better if it’s got a soft, creamy complexion. So I can only get the most perfect durians …

i love durian, but here in US i can only get the frozen kind from the asian market, and i worry they’re contaminated with pesticides. i wish i could find organic fresh durian… maybe in hawaii. yes, fridge cold is the best…not too pungent but still sweet and tangy

theres also durian in davao philippines and my hubby is from general santos (near davao city - know to be the phil capital of durian) and it is a shame that i actually dont like durian due to its bad (yakky - actually smell), but my hubby says it delicious and more calcium content than any other fruit. one time my hubby brought us durian for us to try the popular fruit but still we cant eat that damned fruit, even my daughter dont want that smell. but hey my mother really likes it!!!
