What I Did On My Birthday ?

What I did on my birthday ? Not much actually. I was busy the whole day in the office, trying to finish up my work before going for a dinner with my family.

We had our dinner at Manhattan Fish Market…famous for fish, rice, fish, fish, seafood, fish….

My prawn and fish kena flamed.

We dropped by Baskin Robbins counter after dinner because we saw lotsa customers queuing up. ‘Rupa2nya’ Baskin Robbins were having 31% discount on handpacked ice-cream for 3 days instead of the usual 1 day (every 31st only). What do you think this 2 ladies did ? They queue up!! Just a minute ago, both were complaining about losing weight and the need to go home early to pack.

Along the way, I hinted at them about buying a Baskin Robbins cake but aiseh they won’t buy it for me and I’m too ‘kiam siap’ to buy it myself. So insted of buying 1 whole cake, I bought a slice of BR ice-cream cake.

How to enjoy a slice of cake:
First, lick the icing from the plastic wrapper. Ohhh yummy.

Then, share the cake with your love one.
I must tell you, it’s very delicious.

Chester had just recovered from a ear(left) infection. I asked his vet about his heavy panting and you know what she said ? Chester is slightly overweight. So I’ve cut down his daily food intake. He looks thinner now.

Don’t worry grandma…you worry too much and you nag too much.

At the stroke of midnight, I yelled a Merdeka greeting to my family but ended up being scold by my dad.

Wow, this IS a good way to celebrate ones birthday - with Loved ones + The-Most-Sinful-Food-in-the-World = One Happy Soul Glad you got Chester’s wellness sorted out . But, i guess it’s bad news for Chester , ‘cos he will have to miss out alot on food-glorious-food.

Manhattan Fish Market! Was in KL sometime ago…and my Penang friends insisted on dragging me there! They praised the Fish & Chips to the skies…better than Fish Shop and Fish & Co. Too bad I didn’t have time to go with them! Sigh! Now regretting in!! There was 1 at KLCC then. Think they’ve opened one at Ampang Park now? Which 1 did u go to?

Suituapui, ahhh you’ve missed one of the most delicious food in town. Yes your friends were right…they are better than any other fish shops. I went to Subang Parade one. There’s one at Sunway Piramid and another one at Mid Valley. I’m not so sure about Ampang Park.
