Last week our family PC suddenly went KAPUT. The mouse freezed and sis were telling me…”see see you bought cheap mouse now spoilt liao”…”how much you bought ar ?”.
Me: “RM20+ only”
We also suspected virus attack. We scanned for virus and fortunately our PC get a clean bill of health. There are 2 reasons why no virus were found, either our PC is really healthy or because we never download the virus update therefore our anti-virus software never knew what latest virus is out there.
We then decided to reformat our hard drive. Of course before doing that we have to backup all our ‘precious’ files. So off we go using KEYBOARD ONLY to access our files and folders. That was tough man! We planned to backup our files by burning it into CD/DVD BUT BUT BUT tak jadi la. Guess why ?
At the very last Nero window, we pressed tab to choose ‘Burn’ and then pressed ‘Enter’. Well we were in for a BIG suprise. See picture below.

CLICK is the keyword.
No mouse ? No BURN!
WTF!!!!!!!!
We had to abort our mission and proceed to 2nd degree emergency which is save ‘em into our thumbdrives. We managed it but somehow had to leave some files behind.
Lessons learnt:
1. Backup your files from time to time.
2. Download virus update.
3. Mouse is one of the most important inventions of our time. Read it at wiki by clicking at the link. Say your prayer and praise ‘em ‘The Geniuses’.
To be continued…reformat blues!

ErRRr… Not very sure whether it works but you may wanna try using Tab on the keyboard next time. :) Or else, use a touchscreen monitor and click using your finger.
