Miscellaneous Post

Today is a slow day for me because today is a public holiday in Selangor but my a** is stuck at the office right now. My company is so ‘considerate’. They decided to let us work today so that we can have an extra off day during the Raya season. Where else can you find a ‘caring’ company such as mine?

My grandma has not been feeling well lately. I’m very afraid. Her right arm has a numbing sensation for about 2 weeks now. Doc said it’s an early sign of stroke. She’s on a week of special heart medication and will visit the clinic again this weekend. The doc suspected that her current heart medication dosage is insufficient. I hope and pray all is well by then.

I’m participating in the 10km Subang Jaya Run this coming November. Thought of going for a jog in the stadium to build up my stamina but even if I can run ‘a little’ faster this time I still need to wait for my sis during the run. So why jog ya? *scratch head*

And finally, I have paid all my credit card’s outstanding balance. No more ‘hutang lapuk’. In fact all these months of saving and paying all my dues have transformed me into a stingy gal. REALLY! I no longer buy stuff especially expensive stuff without serious consideration e.g. No reckless spending in Bangkok and I bought a moderate hp that I’m still proud of now. I know where all my money goes because I note down whatever I spend in a book. I allocate a certain amount of $ to be spend each week so that I won’t overspend plus it is easier to control my expenditure. This coming year-end bonus will be a testament for me (if there is bonus la).

I can now happily tell people that I’m debt free!!! But depressingly I’m still not financially well-off. Ohh shuck!

Now back to my day dream. daydream

I would advise for you to bring your grandma to a chinese physician - one who knows how to lessen the blood pressure by accupunture. I am telling you this cos’ it has practically saved my mother-in-law from a bad stroke. She felt something wasn’t right and straightaway went to one to let some blood go (in cantonese: Fong Huet) - This has save her from the blood pressure building up which in turn lesser the stroke’s effect. She did had the stroke but it was a very mild one as predicted by the chinese physician after the accupunture session. He can’t stop it from happening to her cos’ her blood pressure was quite bad when she went to him - therefore, he could only lessen the effect. We were glad she went to see him and has then made a speedy recovery - she is now 100% back to normal :) Oh yeah, and do continue to go the the hospital or doctor to be monitored. It’s better to be careful about things like this. P/S: I typed this so fast, hopefully there aren’t any typos LOL

Kleio, Thank you so much for the advice. Problem is doc said my grandma’s pressure was OK. Too bad but my grandma don’t really trust acupuncture. I will still inform her about this though. We are going to Assunta tomorrow. praying
