Whoa I can’t believe it…I don’t expect the quality of TARA 2 production to be that horrible but it was and Allan Wu is getting scarier than ever!!!

The thing that turn me off the most in TARA is Allan Wu. I tried to be positive throughout the whole of second epi but looking at his intense face has killed me off. I even have to look away when the tv was showing his face. I’m not sure why he’s showing such a face. Is he in pain? He’s suppose to be happily hosting TARA not making monkey face. Sorry dude.

You need to take hosting lesson from Phil.

I’m heart-broken. My favourite team, Ernie and Jeena was the first team to be eliminated in TARA. Boo hooo. From the moment Ernie decided on the Fast Forward I knew it was a harsh move. Come on lah…they were in first place and I guess they’re a little greedy. They want to be first and FAST. Anyway I’m sad to see them leave. Cheerio.

Triple cheers to the M&M aka Mardy & Marsio. Although they finished 2nd in this epi but I think they did a very good job. I believe they are the only team that has done nothing wrong so far. Speaking of good job, that’s what Allan said to almost all the teams that arrived at the pit stop. How bland.

Oh yeah the editing and stuff for this epi is very poor. More than half of the time, I have no clue which team is in which order. And when the teams are running so is the camera…bumping up and down. My eyes are fuzzy.
The most hilarious moment in this epi has got to be the words uttered by Melody when she was retrieving the clue from a box in the snake’s pit. She’s cute btw. She said something like this ‘Please don’t attack me, I’m a snake too’. (p/s: She was born in the year of the snake). Ahh can’t really remember the exact words…but it sounded something like that. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Happy Weekend!

They should have just got Andy Lau or Tony Leung to host TARA lah … or Ben Affleck, maybe?

Yes, the host is annoying. Especially the bland pause…”You are team number….(tumbleweeds roll by)……………..3.” He doesn’t have a personality. So far, still no favorite teams, I think the hilarious bit was the part when your favorite team was pushing the bakso cart, and Jeena was “gabra-ing”…”Stop stop stop, go go go go, stop stop stop stop, go go, stop stop..” That bit was edited superbly!

I noticed that Sony is giving away prizes. It was flashed very quickly and got to do the voting via SMS by 930 pm. Anyway, this site proves useful - pointed me to find out where I can locate the SMS number. Here is the website http://contestcorner.wordpress.com

It does seem to be really bad. Even the tasks are just ridiculous. But i do love the M&Ms…great sense of humour and such laid-back Joes. The beauty queens are a right pain in the arse….so so annoying. Hope the M&Ms win!

allan wu is either trying too hard or is too kembang already for being chosen as the host. the pause thing before announcing the team number reminds me of jallaludin hassan in the malaysian who wants to be a millionaire:P

I wonder if these teams on TARA 2 are better behaved than those on any of the original TAR seasons. Currently, we are down to four teams in Season 10. A team of blonde girls has drawn the ire of viritually ever team along the way, and are in the final four along with two women from Alabama. The mutual hate between the two teams is explosive, to say the least. The other two teams aren’t exactly poster children for decent behavior either (especially the co-habitating Rob and Kimberly, who spend most of their time yelling at one another). Do we just pick the most dysfunctional teams to represent our country as they trek around the world?

Dumaguete, hi there. I’m guessing the models to win TAR 10. How bout you? I don’t have any favourite for this season’s TAR unfortunately.

Out of the remaining four teams I don’t really have a favorite either. The 2 guys would seem to be affected least by all of the drama. Besides, they might be the strongest mentally after overcoming drug addictions in their lives. I think my favorite team from Seasons 7-10 (I didn’t watch before 7) would have to be Meredith & Gretchen. They were the oldest couple by far in Season 7, and yet they outlasted all but 3 teams. They were also among the few teams who rarely argued, and they certainly weren’t out to stab others in the back. Nice to see a good-natured team get so far for once.

Dumaguete Dreamin’: My fav team has got to be from Season 9 Winner…TTOW! BJ and Tyler

I liked those guys, too, but wanted to go with a not-so-obvious choice. I think the whole world was rooting for BJ and Tyler…including myself. This season, I think the Cho brothers were the easiest to like. However, because they wanted to stay with their “six pack” friends they always seemed to finish in the bottom half. The were without the relationship drama so often seen in the boyfriend/girlfriend and husband/wife teams, and they were among the most physically fit of any team ever. They could have gone much farther perhaps. Unfortunately, the nice guys finished last this past week.

Dumaguete Dreamin’, yes too bad about the ’six packs’ union. They lost because of it yet they gain 4 real friends. They should be more aggresive.
