I’m planning for an adventurous backpacking trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah next year. Other than being able to enjoy myself there my main agenda is to travel light and cheap. Have you heard of this cool website called ’50 Travel Sites You’ve Probably Never Heard Off’ (courtesy of Luggage Online)? You must absolutely check it out.
I found the ultimate answer to travel light at the site called Onebag.com. Some of the key topics discussed are what to pack, how to pack, how to choose the perfect bag and packing list. Onebag.com will be one of gurus during the planning of my Kota Kinabalu trip. Yee ha!
I also found loads of quality budget accommodation tailored just for backpackers like us at Hostels.net. There is a couple of interesting budget hostels that I found in Kota Kinabalu. Each comes with a short description of the hostels, room types, room availability, online booking, facilities and hostel photos.
Wohoooo. Now I will be able to travel light and cheap! I can’t wait to scale the highest peak in South-East Asia, to rough it out in the rapids river and to snorkel in the clear blue sea of Borneo.
