Chester just had his annual vaccination jab at the local vet last Friday. Nope, he didn’t turned into a timid dog because he saw another golden retriever there. He barked at the poor dog as if saying ‘I’m the boss HERE, now get out!’. But when it was his turn to see the vet, he freezed and became hesitant. That’s my lovely cutie dog!
Chester got his temperature checked with a thermometer stucked in his buttocks, received a painful jab and swallowed a pill. For 3 years now, his weight remain a healthy 30kg. I haven’t been able to carry him since he was less than a year old. All in all he is certified as a healthy dog except for his recurring skin problem. I’m going to bath Chester with the recommended medicated shampoo by Dr T. Ohh btw Chester hasn’t take any bath since the 2nd last week of December last year. And now with his recent jab, he can’t bath for another week. His ‘manly’ smell is getting stronger and stronger.
As for my grandma, she did a lipid test for cholesterol and guess what? her LDL had dropped to a level that is so wonderful that Dr S said you can even frame up her blood test result. Not to disappoint him, here’s my grandma’s cholesterol results. (posting in a blog also consider frame up ma)
This test was taken last September right before her stroke. Unfortunately it was too late when we received this result.

Test taken a few days ago.

Can you see the different? Yup a dramatic drop. Wohoo Grandma you did it! I’m very proud of her.
She will take another lipid test in 5 weeks time. She’s been a very good ‘girl’ you know. She eats lotsa fibers and at the same time fighting off the temptation of eating high cholesterol food and exercise a couple of times each day. May God bless her.
p/s: LDL is commonly referred to as bad cholesterol.

I’m sure Chester is so “man” right now! LoL… Talk about smelly dog, I don’t think any dog can fight with the one at my downstairs. Even when you walk pass the house with closed doors and windows, you can still smell it at the outside. Really don’t know how the family can stay in the house everyday. Spposedly we can’t have dog in flats, they not only have a dog in the house but a very smelly one! gah…
