The only reason you’ve not heard about Triond is that it’s not famous. It’s not famous because it pays very little. Still it hasn’t deter me from trying to make money out of it. Triond was recommended to me by Mo-C.
Triond’s tagline is 
Create – create interesting content in any language/topic/media format.
Publish – once the content is submitted and approved, it will be published in an appropriate website.
Earn – earning is based on the number of clicks for that content. Receive monthly payment either by check or PayPal.
Bottom line is you don’t need a blog to participate. But having a blog does help in a way because you can advertise your content in a blog. Like what I’m doing now.

Actually, it pays per click on teh advertisments. The content u publish is on sites with ads on them and triond pays you half of what they make when someone clicks on the ads.
