My Car Is Back!

Yahoo! My baby is back…I mean my car. Just in case you’re clueless, my car was involved in an accident 5 weeks ago and I’ve been waiting since then for my car to be repaired.

I collected my car yesterday from Toyota. The total amount of the 3rd party claim is RM4k+. Actually the total amount to be repaired was RM8k+ but the &*@($!^ adjuster decided that some parts are servicable! The main changing parts are the bumper and boot besides some mini minor parts.

I thought it’s going to be a speedy procedure but unfortunately I saw something not done correctly at the right side of the back lamp. So the repairman did several times of knocking/adjusting/screwing until alas I said “nevermind la”.

I felt awkward when I sat inside my car again after being so long. More so when I hit the gas pedal. The feeling is alien to me for a few minutes. After that? it’s oh lala…vrooooooooom!

p/s: Red hot chili pepper, fyi all Toyota front and back bumper are made of plastic.

Can you beg for me ah? Let’s run up the stadium stairs next week ok? Kleio, the delay was due to insurance paperwork/approval stuffs. The repair work took a little bit more than a week only.     Wow 8K man. Insurance claim always larger figures one :). Oh, fix kangaroo bars front and back then your car will be well protected by much tougher materials ;p
