Oppps I’ve made a huge mistake! My dad’s new Nokia hp model is 3110, not 6300 as previously mentioned. Sorry.
Whenever there’s any handphone topic emerge between my dad and me, he would be telling old grandma story. Stories like how stupid I was for buying a RM1.7k handphone and then got bitten by my dog or how I dropped my RM1k handphone into the toilet hole or how often I change handphone.
If you remember…more than a year ago, I blogged about my new Nokia 6060 handphone which I’m still very much in love with it today. It was cheap and it have very minor features which is good enough for me.
Just a few days ago, my dad bought a new handphone - a black Nokia 3110.
Wanna know what my dad said?
Here’s an approximate conversation between dad and me chit chatting regarding his new handphone.
Dad: This is my new handphone.
Che-Cheh: WHAT??? you bought another new handphone?
Dad: Very cheap. Worth buying. It has camera, bluetooth, blah blah….
Che-Cheh: but you just bought one not long ago wor.
Dad: This is a new model. RM600 only. I even get a free memory card.
Che-Cheh: aiyooo you so much money meh? What would happen to your old hp?
Dad: I wanted to sell it off but the seller said worth RM50 only. Let mom have it. Her current hp is abit ‘gilar-gilar’. So you want to buy this handphone?
Che-Cheh: No way!
Dad: Why not? It’s very cheap. It has camera function unlike yours. If you want tomorrow I bring you there.
Che-Cheh: Why would I want to waste my money? My current hp is still working properly.
Dad: Because it’s cheap.
Che-Cheh: But I don’t want to waste money buying things that I don’t need.
Dad: Aiyah just sign credit card. I bought this with credit card too.
Che-Cheh: Ohhh no wonder la. I was wondering why you were so GENEROUS!
Dad: So you want to buy? Throw away your lousy hp la. This is cheap and better. Remember the time you bought a RM1.7k hp? Where got ppl so stupid wan.
Che-Cheh: Aiyah that time camera hp just came out. That’s why expensive la. I don’t want to buy. No money.
Dad: Sign credit card la.
Che-Cheh: I’m debt free now. Don’t wanna hutang. No No No.
So it seems everything that my dad said and did are always correct. Yeah DAD!!! But how come you’ve changed 5 hps?

Daniel, the model that my dad bought was 3110. Sorry for the mistake. Both 3110 and 6300 looks quite alike.
