I wrote a post about my intention (and sis’) to buy an oven a little less than a year ago but the actual thing never comes to be.
Main reason: built-in-oven is pricey and with the addition of a custom made cabinet for the oven, total price touch over RM3.5k.
So I hold on to the idea until I can afford it later maybe after I have a family of my own. But then now I’m yearning to bake cake, cookies, bread…aiyo beh tahan!
So I’ve decided to buy an electric oven. It looks somewhat like a microwave oven. Price? It ranges from RM250-RM1000 depending on brand. So wish me luck because I’m going hunting for one during Mega Sale.
Do ya notice that I posted 2 food related posts for the last 2 days? I’m in a eat-first-worry-get-fat-later phase. Everything I see and look = feel delicious!

I am also in the stage like you! Always imagine want to bake cake, want to cook spaghetti, want to bake cookies. I have a electric oven, PENSONIC(sucks brand, i know), don’t know the price, because someone give it to us during our new house opening. Now i realize how powerful is microwave oven. If you want to get a oven, don’t get electric oven, straight get microwave oven, because last time I tried to heat up the spaghetti sauce with electric oven, it just felt warm after 20 minutes… but the price is some kind of higher… Electric oven is like a dry slow cooker, it can use for hours of baking, but not suitable for heating, too too too slow, but microwave oven can do both heating, baking, frying, boiling, and all shit that related with fire.

Please join us on photohunters. it will b fun. been ages since i cooked roast chicken, cakes or cookies. when benghui came along, we were worried the hot oven might hurt him. he is big enuf now so perhaps it is time

Vhanded, I don’t really like microwave oven coz you know lar we’ve heard so many bad things about microwave…not good for health, etc. And since my main target is to bake only I guess a small cute electric oven is enough. Bengbeng, I just joined. Waiting for TNChick to reply. Ohh then please bake some cookies and cake and show us.
