Have you ever been in such situation before?
You’re the first patron of the restaurant. While waiting for your ordered food, waitresses/waiters start circling around your table like you’re a big juicy yummylicious meat!
Well I have. It was torturing man. There we were hungry and all that. Suddenly we feel like we’re going to be somebody else’s dinner. Three waitresses start to circle our table…round and round they go. Like vultures! Their eyes never left us.
Luckily the foods arrive not long after that. The scenario changes quickly. From somebody else’s dinner to being treated like royal. They pour soup onto our soup bowl, refill our Chinese tea, etc. Being treated like royal is typical Chinese restaurant act. But being spied by vulture is new to me.
My dad really thought he’s the king.
Dad: Tea!

Mostly in western restaurant they dont do that, but chinese restaurant, maybe not like your case, but they do round and round with a bigger radius…
