I have a 3 years old (going on 4) golden retriever. His name is Chester Bennington Q. I don’t quite remember when I fell in love with golden retriever but I remembered I was very young at that time. All I remember is that they look wonderfully cute, tame, large, cuddly and warm. And their eyes and mouth are always smiling! Ever since then I’ve always wanted a dog and it MUST be a golden retriever. It’s as if this large mammal has etched its name in my heart eternally.
It took me quite a while and a lot of researching, persuasion and energy before being given a nod of approval by my parents to care for a golden retriever. I did a lot of researching on the net before jumping into the world of responsibility. One particular site that I found containing lots of information and resource about golden is at Breeder Retriever. If you’re bound to be the first hand owner of golden retriever then its best to do your research online. Look for information on dog’s temperament, caring method, vital statistics, history, etc. I was so happy when I learnt that golden retriever has one of the best temperaments among other dog breeds. They’re easy to train, obedience and family-friendly.
Joining an online dog forum has helped me learn some extra skills/tips in taking care of my golden. When in doubt, always ask the expert. Who’s the expert? Dog owners.
I’ve been wonderfully blessed since the arrival of Chester. He has brought laughter and fun into our house. We are all touched by his silliness, his insatiable appetite, his fast learning ability, his charming smile, his cuddly hug and his ferocious growl.
Once you’ve been touched by a golden, you’ll be their slave for life.

Pacco, how many cups of kibble do you feed Pacco daily? Chester eats 4 cups daily. A 13kg dog kibbles can last him 1.5months.
