Ferrari failed to capture pole on Saturday qualifying at their home ground Monza, Italy. Then came Sunday, whereby Ferrari had another disastrous day. Massa retired early on leaving Kimi to fend for championship points.
All was looking bright for Kimi as he was on a 1 stop strategy as oppose to McLaren two. He came in 2nd after his pit stop, overtaking Hamilton. But Hamilton overtook him back easily. At the end of the race, Kimi was a further 20+ seconds from race winner Alonso. Ferrari just didn’t have the pace to match McLaren.
Honda was quite good. They qualified well and finished 8th (Button) and 10th (Barichello) places respectively.
Next race: Belgium (this week)

I stopped watching (switched off TV, lights and fans) about 10 laps before the chequered flag because the show was basically over after Alonso pitted and came out still ahead of Lewis and Kimi. The way Lewis overtook Kimi looked so damn easy. Disappointed with Ferrari.

Kimi raced in the spare car. So, I think he’s lucky to get 3rd.

Hcfoo, the race is getting exciting as we get near to the end. You should watch.
Jemima, yup he’s lucky. But not lucky enough to have a fast car.
