I’m not sure whether you still remember my rat story which I posted a few months back. It took us just one night to catch this rascal. Here we are few months later and we have another new company to deal with. Another rat. This time smaller in size.
We were alerted of his presence one night because of Chester. He went on a smelling spree at our piano and TV cabinet, tracking down a mysterious scent. Immediately we know we have an uninvited guest in our house but we couldn’t do anything as we have no idea where the rat was.
The next night, sis saw the rat at our bathroom, clawing at the water hole but of course the hole has a plastic blocker where only water can rush through. Mom caught the rat immediately with a large clippers but he got away and went hiding behind the piano and then to the TV cabinet. After that there is nothing we could do. We lost track of him again.
The next morning, mom saw the rat at one of our room. That bloody rat was climbing up my mirror, to my table, to my bag!!! Ewwww so dirty. All this while, we fence Chester at our living room for HIS safety. Hahaha…
When we came home later, mom prepared a rat trap consisting of rat glue, pineapple tarts and garlic bread. Hopefully we’ll be able to catch him with this:

Stay tuned for rat saga part 2.

My room is near toilet actually. There got once a little rat came into my room in the middle of the night and the noise made me wake up and I had to chase the rat out of my room.. Really a miserable night.. After all, I always closed the toilet door every night I sleep..

We have problems with mice, too. Hubby bought some sticky, gluey pads from the hardware store and was able to catch some of those rascals. Hopefully they learn a lesson and not gonna show up again.
