Me: Chester, let’s play fetch. Bring your tennis ball.
He lay motionless at his favourite spot.
Me: Chester, I give you cookie NOW. Let’s go. Bring your tennis ball.
Immediately he stands up, fetch his ball and follow me to his food vault.
We play a few rounds of retrieving and hide and seek.
Once he sees my hand is not holding anymore cookies, he plops down back at his favourite spot.
