Kampungkai has resume blogging recently after a 6 months break. All because of a watch named Seiko 5 Automatic.
His post has triggered me to write about this watch because my dad has a Seiko Automatic watch too.
What’s so special about Seiko Automatic watch? This type of watch doesn’t need battery to operate. It is powered by human movement. It winds itself when the watch is in motion. Therefore the code name Kinetic.
I’ve worn this watch during my schooling time but because my hand don’t always move around, it kinda pissed me off when the watch died on me. Kampungkai said you must be an active person if you are to wear this watch.
According to my dad, he got his Seiko Automatic watch before knowing my mom. He must have remembered it wrongly because Seiko Automatic watch was invented in the 80s. 
Oh yeah it still ticks.
