I stayed up until around 1.30am this morning for Malaysia’s 12th general election results. A couple of early results on BN’s shock parliamentary seats defeat is enough to send me to my bed. Haha…
I waited for this morning’s paper which had came in a bit late. Got my Sunday Star at around noon time. The guys must be partying late.
So, Malaysia has spoken.

No 2/3 parliamentary seats in sight. 5 states will be ruled by the opposition parties. Now this is not something we see everyday. This is the result that I think most urbanite Malaysians are hoping for and because we spoke out, we get what we deserved.

I’m still in shock and frightening. Somehow, it shows that the democracy still exists here in the country even though the freedom given to the public is not as much as in The States.

For me, the biggest shock of the day is both Chelsea and Manchester United lose in the FA Cup. Keep bombarding the opponent’s goal and just cannot score, then lose a second goalkeeper before giving away a penalty.

Time for a change. Heard the opposition parties have taken most of BN in some states, Perak & penang. Wow! Impressive.
