Normally I store my fresh herbs with its packaging in the fridge box. Though they lasted for nearly 2 weeks, they always look wilted and lifeless.
I read some good ideas on storing fresh herbs at Elise blog and decided to try her method.
Here’s a before look at my rosemary and thyme.

Here’s how they look few hours later.

See… so fresh eh? They look like I’ve just pluck them from my ‘imaginary’ garden.
I placed them in water containers beside the window. Unfortunately they lasted for more than a week only. Maybe it’s the heat.
Next time I will store them in the fridge together with the water container.
Coincidently few days back I have some coriander. So I place the coriander in a water container and store in the fridge. Then I take a plastic bag and cover the coriander with it.
I’ve removed the plastic bag in this picture.

It thrives beautifully. So green. So fresh. Yum-yum!

Bengbeng, you’re welcome.
Keeyit, indeed water is magic. They’re herbs usually use in English cooking like pasta, roast chicken, etc. They smell really wonderful especially rosemary.
