What happen when you put rain into a street circuit? Utter chaos!!! Yes that was exactly what happened in F1 Monaco GP yesterday. There were too many eventful matters until I don’t know how to describe here. All I can tell is it was an entertaining race. So entertaining that the race has to stop 2 hours later because F1 race can only compete within a 2 hours time frame.
As usual we have yellow flags, safety car, spectacular accidents and just for Monaco… plenty of front wings replacement.
For me, the most stunning maneuver is that of Kimi Raikkonen losing control (weaving left and right so spectacularly) but alas bumped into Adrian Sutil’s back. The horrible thing is Sutil and Force India was in the run in for their first point scoring position, 4th. Kimi was able to continue the race after a front wing change coming out 9th but Sutil was out.
Race winner is Lewis Hamilton, 2nd is Kubica and 3rd is Massa. Boohoo to Ferrari’s strategy. Just this once McLaren is able to outwit Ferrari. Cissss
p/s: Why is Astro not showing Roland Garros match from round 1? Aiyoo aiyahhh cissss betul!

I didn’t watch the race from beginning. But when I switched the tv on at 9.30, Hamilton is in the lead. And I know he will go on to win the race as Monaco circuit is not best designed to overtake. I thought Massa and Kimi are in the front row, how come?

Jam, blame it on Ferrari’s strategy. Kimi kena drive-thru if I’m not mistaken. I missed that part.

What sort of strategy was Ferrari on? Why must race within a 2 hours time frame?

Neo, they changed to 1 pit stop strategy but later have to change back to 2 due to weather condition. Normal racing time is 1.5hours. FIA regulation state max race is 2 hours. I guess one of the reason they have this rule is because the drivers will be very tired by then and also the car machinery will not perform to their best liao.
