Marat Safin was ousted by his Russian compatriot Nikolay Davydenko ranked 4th in the world in the 2nd round Roland Garros match yesterday. Once he lost the first set to Davy, his performance has been much like a saw-tooth. It was frustrating at times
and yet exciting.

But you know what? I sense he’s playing much better tennis now. A lot better than this past 2 years I would say. I sincerely believe he can win yesterday’s match. Maybe you think I’m crazy.
The only 2 things that he lacks are confidence and believe which I think are the 2 most important elements in tennis. Once he got both figured out, he can kill anybody! Because without both, power shots will become unforced errors. Oh and if only he can contain his HOT temper and racquet demolishing act.

Now if you don’t know yet, I’m his long-time fansi (fan). He’s the only one (and ManUtd) that can make me jump out of my seat dancing with delight and ecstasy.
I’m hoping for the best of him in Wimbledon. *fingers crossed*
For now I’ll concentrate on Nadal.
