My mom frequent this bak chang (pork dumpling) stall in Petaling Street before Chang festival every year. This 2 ladies have been selling chang for so many years. Their stall is situated along the famous mata kucing stall.

Love their Cantonese Chang (Kung Fu Chung) and Nyonya Chang.

I haven’t been to Petaling Street for nearly a year and was surprised to see a new change. Last time, all the stalls are lined up at the middle of the road. Now they’re line up nicely beside the walkway. I like this new setup. Know why? Because we won’t be crushed like a tin of sardine anymore!

Most of the stalls here sell ‘fake-branded’ handbags and watches. Boringnya.

is nyonya chang also called “kit chang” or something like that? the small changs with no fillings? i hate those. personally i like my chang with pork, chestnuts, salted egg yolk, and peanuts. i usually buy whatever’s the most expensive at the gerai.

Jason,
too bad I stay so far away. The one they make here not so tasty.
Hcfoo, haha me too but I try to eat less. Cholesterol mah.
Yozoranitesky, I’m not sure. I think they have hokkien chang (with black soy sauce)
Neo, great now is the time to practice your photography at Petaling Street.
Hedo, the small one with no fillings is not nyonya chang. I dunno what they’re called. I dislike those too. Nyonya chang fillings are minced pork and delicious rempah. I know usually the most expensive chang has the most yummylicious fillings!

My fav is the nyonya ones coz that’s what we were brought with. I was at Petaling Street for the first time in my life during my trip to KL last year. Jam packed with bodies emitting heat on each other. No fun at all.
