Amazing Race Asia 3 will premier at AXN on 11th September 2008. 
Yeah I’m excited alright but I can’t write off the feeling of being deceived as well.
Yet again the contestants selection system has left me dumb-founded. Just like TARA 1 & TARA 2, TARA 3 “featured a large number of local media personalities or their relatives.” (quote from Wiki)
Like that eh no point for us (non-media personalities/their relatives) to painstakingly apply for TARA lo since we won’t be selected anyway. Right or not?
The most awful thing is we have 2 Malaysia’s celebrities in TARA 3. I didn’t say I won’t enjoy their oncoming race but non-celebrities like us can also be a crowd puller wat.

p/s: sorry readers if you’ve gotten quite annoyed with the DIGXA Mini Store Ads. I’m experimenting whether I can get any $$ out of that. Hehe

whats there to be disappointed about? Mr Mackay has already stated that he feels that there is NOTHING wrong with the selection of racers for every season. and people still tune in every season , in fact if i’m not mistaken TARA 2 pulled even more viewers than the first season. the only thing to do to send a message to the produces of TARA is to not tune in and watch the series.

eksk, I enjoyed TARA1 and TARA 2 tremendously and I know I will enjoy TARA 3. I’m disappointed at the selection because the applicants work hard to get the video done and all. So you must understand somehow some of them must feel a bit frustrated la since celebrities are given all the priorities.

I think non-celebrities should stop thinking abt submitting their application. Well, kena tipu and tipu again yet ppl still love the show. I’ll watch but won’t love it anymore.
