Chester had a 2nd hematoma surgery a day after his birthday.
I think the vet didn’t sedate him during the surgery. Even if Chester were to be given a mild sedation, still I’m sure we can some weaknesses in him (such as wobbly legs, puke) after waking up. But NO! When we fetched him home that evening, he looks energetic unlike his first hematoma surgery. No hard panting, no puking, no wobbly legs. Very dehydrated yes!
Gruesome! More gruesome pictures to come. Unfortunately in this photo and the next one, Chester is showing pleasurable expression. I don’t know what to say about this dog! 
The fur around his ear is basically soaked with blood. Used a handkerchief to clean. Seems like he loved ‘the touch’.

Aduh! So heart-breaking looking at this. I don’t dare to put a lot of pressure during cleaning or he’ll whimper sakit! sakit! (pain! pain!)
Therefore we’ll bring him back to the clinic every 2 days or 1 day (depending on situation) for the vet to thoroughly clean and administer the condition. I’ll still clean his ear but will be putting less pressure. I don’t want a 3rd you-know-what (touch wood!).
p/s: vet said must put pressure to get the blood out or it’ll swell back
